Gyu-kaku Japanese Bbq

The first waitress we had was deceitful. She said that they only had canned soda and no fountain drinks which is a complete lie. She also said that they charge for any leftovers by weight. I confronted the host with my friend who immediately took action and apologized and assigned us another waiter. The second person was wonderful and even went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable. They were kind, patient, and friendly. If we had been stuck with the first waitress my party and I agreed that we would have left the restaurant.

There were six of us crammed in a booth (two of us quite tall), and only one small cooking surface. There was not adequate room at the table for the plates and to safely reach the grill. The fire kept going out, so we had a hard time cooking adequately. Plus the kitchen was not working so none of the usual side dishes were available. We left having spent quite a bit of money and not feeling very satisfied or full. It was very uncomfortable. I don't think I'll return. The NYC location I went to was far better.

Our server was very attentive and kind, it was my father's birthday and staff came and sang him a song and gave him a nicely decorated ice cream plate. Clearly the draw to the establishment are the grills that are integrated into the tables but be aware that the whole restaurant felt scorching hot and the ACs seemed to be running very low. The food was nice though and the experience overall unique.

Everything was great! Food was great, service was great. Only complain is the room we were in. It's all the way in the back, it has no air circulation. It's nice out today, so it was stuffy when we walked in. And then shortly after turning on the grills, it just kept getting hotter and hotter. It's been like that for many years now, but hoping they'd do something about it in the near future.

The best place I’ve ever been to for a birthday celebration! The waiter Michael was on point with everything we needed at the table! No need to ask him for anything because he brought it perfectly on time! Highly recommend this place!!! Parking: The hardest thing was finding parking spots! One person even got a huge ticket so be mindful that where ever you park look for signs!
