Hakuna Matata Grill

I’ve been here four times and can say this is my spot. I don’t try and tell too many people about it cause i don’t want it to get crazy. The wings are crazy good. They come with African spices and are juicy. The samosa’s are the star in my opinion, unbelievably good. The owner is cool, understanding, and chill guy. The music is vibes. I would host a private event here for sure for the food, atmosphere, and drinks. Tuesday’s are the days to go for all day happy hour. Will be back for sure.

Additionally, I overheard similar complaints from other patrons regarding the unexpected charges on their bills. To make matters worse, I gave the bartender a $10 bill, but I never received my change. It seems the restaurant has a policy of not giving change from the register, which feels like they are unfairly taking customers' money. I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone, and I believe they should be looked into for their business practices.

I recently ordered Nyama Mchuzi with sukuma wiki, ugali, and chapati for delivery, and it was absolutely fantastic! It reminded me of my time in Nairobi, but honestly, it was even better! The stew was perfectly spiced, with a thick, rich sauce and lots of tender beef chunks. Thank you for the delightful trip down memory lane—I will definitely be returning for more!

The food and cocktails are sooooooo delicious, with great music in the air and speedy attentive service. You can sit inside the restaurant (small or large groups), at the bar with the TV or like me, go outside where they have tables set up and enjoy the food and sunshine while still hearing the music. Visited this fablous spot, East african cuisine, mouth watering delicious food, fantastic presentation, great ambiance , friendly, dedicated staff, had the pleasure of meeting the owner, very welcoming, will definately come again! Sheila.

1st time. Food is definitely one of a kind. They have a beef or goat option. Service was prompt and attentive. You have to check this place out.Parking: Wheaton public and street parking

Watch out what you order . 16 4 for you said neat 18/00 service charge for a shot of gin ? Not even menu for a there drinks when you ask ? Kind of high way robbery. think twice .

Met up with a friend here. It was a Friday night. Karaoke was funny. I only had the fries and they were good. The beer I had was good too.I'd definitely revisit
