Hala - Reservar una mesa

The food is getting very bland. We had a meal here and were unimpressed. This is about our fourth visit and the standard has dropped. The grill looks plentiful and well presented but it looks better than it tastes. The starters are a rip off 4 calamari for tenner. We’ve never enjoyed the starters here. The worst part is the lack of taste in the food which unfortunately left us feeling we won’t be back. Service is indifferent at times verging on rude. Clearly inconsistency is an issue and there is nothing exciting about the menu.

My wife and I were visiting London for the weekend and were looking for somewhere to dine. We decided to give the Hala a try after looking at various other establishments. Even though it was out of our comfort zone because we’d never eaten Turkish food. We weren’t disappointed. The food was gorgeous and plenty of it. The staff were very attentive without being overbearing,it was a bit pricey especially the drinks but we got what we paid for. All in all a very good experience and we would gladly go there again.

We have visited here a number of times over the years. Although it is a busy restaurant the tables are well spaced out and the food is delicious. We eat in many different Turkish restaurants in London and this is definitely one of the best out there :

We pre-booked but when we arrived on Saturday night the restaurant was full and our table was not available straight away. Nevertheless the food was great.

visited on a very busy Saturday night so the service was rushed. However the food was great as usual. we will return
