I had an exceptional dining experience at this restaurant. The food truly deserves a perfect score of 5 out of 5; every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was equally impressive, with attentive and friendly staff who made us feel welcome throughout our meal. The atmosphere was fantastic, creating a warm and inviting environment perfect for dinner. I highly recommend trying the Tempura, which was an outstanding highlight of the evening!
I ordered takeout, and it was absolutely delicious. We tried the Titanic Roll, Lazy Roll, Alamo Roll, gyoza, edamame, and, of course, miso soup. The fish was fresh, and the service was both friendly and prompt. Additionally, they’re one of the few sushi restaurants open on Sundays in the area, which is a major plus. The restaurant is situated in a shopping center, so parking is convenient. I highly recommend this place for dine-in or takeout whenever you're craving sushi!
This was, by far, the worst sushi experience I've ever had! We ordered takeout, and the raw fish looked quite questionable. The tuna had too many veins, and the bloodline was still visible on the red snapper. The sushi rice was incredibly stale, and the soft shell crab tasted like it had been frozen before being served. We made sure to pick it up on time so the crab would at least be warm, but that didn't make a difference. I definitely will not be returning.
This is one of our favorite places for Japanese food. The dishes are always fresh and tasty. The service is fast and friendly. The prices are very reasonable, and the menu has a wide selection. Plus, there's plenty of parking in a conveniently located area of Alamo.

I always enjoy an incredible meal at Ha-La, and the service is excellent. The Toro dish was particularly exceptional. Food: 5/5, Atmosphere: 4/5.
