The harissa carrots were beautifully roasted and paired with a smoky dressing, while the roasted cauliflower was tender and served with a nutty green sauce. The za’atar flatbread, made with woodfire, comes dusted with a Middle Eastern spice mix, making it a delightful complement to many dishes. The chargrilled calamari was cooked to perfection, bursting with lemony and herby flavors. The pumpkin and blood orange dish was simply delicious, showcasing simple flavors executed beautifully.

Wow! Saturday 11 May we celebrated my son Andrew and his beautiful wife Alex’s wedding. The kids booked this venue when it was still in construction so I was panicking but let me tell you there was nothing but perfection happening all night. The atmosphere (and dress code) might give you the impression that you're entering a nightclub rather than a brunch venue. If you're okay with a lively crowd of animated and enthusiastic patrons, you'll enjoy the experience. Considering the quality of food, Half Acre is definitely an excellent choice for a bottomless brunch. Be sure to give it a try soon!

Absolutely incredible bottomless lunch! I've tried several all over Melbourne, but this one truly exceeded our expectations! The food was amazing, and the service was extraordinarily friendly and attentive. The location might be a bit hidden, but don’t let that fool you; once you step inside, you’re transported to a chic atmosphere. I highly recommend it!
We had a lovely team Christmas lunch here recently, and the table decided to go for half acre pre set menu. Food was super tasty and was in abundance. Loved the variety of vegetables being used in different ways and chocolate nemesis was not quite 'River Cafe ' standard but still pretty good. Wait staff were lovely too.
Half acre is in South Melbourne but when you step inside you’re transported to a place further away, in the country perhaps. It has a beautiful rustic but elegant atmosphere and the food mimics that vibe. Half Acre wine. We started with some wine and it was divine. Half Acre wood fired za'atar bread
What an interesting venue. More than one entrance, several spaces, open kitchen, delightful light. The menu is brimming with must haves. We chose calamari, pumpkin and cauliflower which was the standout. Terrific textures and tastes with a cracker crew. Love.

Great food, inventive sauces, wonderful wait staff and a pleasant ambience.<br/ <br/ A trifle noisy but with so many people enjoying themselves this was a small trade-off<br/ <br/ Well worth a visit but you must book ahead.
Great service and fantastic food will definitely be back.
