I have heard from so many friends that if I’m ever in Charleston I need to visit Hall’s. I’m so thankful that I was able to heed their advice. The service was spot on. Our server, Emily, helped us through the menu since it was our first time and explained their options. I am so glad she explained the difference between a wet-aged and dry-aged steak, it had me alter the plans I had going in and I stepped myself up to the 16 ounce dry aged ribeye. This is an old school steakhouse, when you enter the building you are transported back in time. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The cocktails we drank were excellent, steaks were cooked to perfect temperature. The side dishes are large portions so get ready to bring left overs home. Only problem I had at halls is the wedge salad, they serve it with a whole slice of bacon on top. How do you cut bacon with a salad knife???
We went here for the gospel brunch and it was fantastic. I got the crab cake eggs Benedict my wife got the fillet and both were excellent. It's tough to get a reservation here, but if you would like to go for the gospel brunch you can get there at 9:30 before they open and get a table. The owner was very attentive and walked around greeting people and the staff was very nice. We would definitely go back here.

What a way to welcome you. Many employees and owners give a warm welcome. Make sure that reservations are in advance. We're lucky to come the same day. The food was great. Service was excellent. Steaks were perfect. Dry aged ribeye was the most tasteful steak I've ever had. I had dessert tablet presentations, but no steak cut presentation. Very recommended.
Our server was delightful and very helpful. We were 2 women, and didn’t want to overeat, so w truly appreciated her guidance with the menu selection. We started with a Pomegranate martini, and it was delicious. The veal chop was perfect, as were our sides. It was our first time in Charleston, and I’m sure we’ll be back, and definitely come back to Hall’s.
unbelievably the best restaurant we've ever been! from greeting at the door to wonderful service from our waitress megan we were blown away! the steaks are amazing and cooked for perfection! brotpudding is a must for dessert! cannot wait to go back when we get back in sc!
The meal was exceptional! Even received a hand written thank you card in the mail afterwards! Didn't like that you needed to Valet park and the it very noisy but the food was out of this world. We would go back in a heartbeat!

The food was delicious! I replaced the steak in the steak omelette for sausage links and they were delicious. There was live music which made for an incredible brunch for my friends birthday. I would highly recommend.
