Hamptons @the Barn

We have visited this restaurant multiple times and have always enjoyed the excellent, homemade, and delicious food. However, we were disappointed with the time limit on dining, which is only 1 1/2 hours. This policy is not very customer-friendly, especially considering the time it takes to place an order and receive the food. We were unable to order dessert and were rushed to finish our coffee as our table had been booked for another party in 10 minutes. We suggest extending the dining time to 2 hours in the future for a more enjoyable dining experience.

What a delight this little place is.We were passing and decided to pop in for a Sunday lunch and boy we were suprised!We had two Sunday lunches and they were as good as we have had.Well cooked,piping hot with good tasty meat,loads of nice veg and plenty of gravy,lovely.We were surprised by how much was available.They do breakfasts.lunches and have a good many homemade cakes and desserts,all at a good price!There is also a little shop attached.Nice little gem of a place.

Visited with my daughter today for coffee and cake and was really underwhelmed . The menu selection was limited and £8.95 for sandwiches seems quite steep to me . Coffee was dreadful, very watery and got the impression it was from a cheap Machine rather than proper barista coffee. Scones were warmed in the microwave and served with really cheap jam. The shop was full of really old stock . Think this place needs a reset .

I had a great experience during my first visit to this restaurant. The staff was polite, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the lunch was delicious. I ordered the bubble and squeak with bacon, poached egg, and salad, which was very tasty. I also treated myself to a slice of cake and a cold drink. The prices were reasonable in my opinion. Delicious lunch at Hamptons. The broccoli and Stilton tart was divine. So light and perfect, served warm with new potatoes and salad. Highly recommend.

I enjoy going to this restaurant for coffee or lunch, they also have fantastic Sunday roasts. The food is always fresh and the staff is very friendly.

Food here is very good and reasonably priced. I had the fishcakes and got a massive portion! The shop is very nice but a little overpriced. Reserva una mesa ahora

Just had lunch there. I had Crispy Chicken with Salad and Chips. Yummy. Great service too. Covid precautions well done.

Amazing veggie full English breakfast, freshly cooked, good choice of eggs, good service and very accommodating
