Staying locally we looked for a dog friendly place to eat. Couldn’t have picked a better place, maybe our dog got a better reception, only kidding! Met by a very friendly, professional young man, shown to table, described specials/soup of the day, drinks order taken...and served quickly. Staff were so nice, made such a fuss of our dog, lots of treats and chit chat. Food ordered, also came promptly, Chicken burger and Chicken pitta were very tasty, portions were large, prob overdid by having the nachos(shared) to start. But all in a really enjoyable meal. Can’t state how friendly and professional the staff were to us, all our servers were fantastic. Even that little awkward moment they check...
On arrival on a cold wintery afternoon being greeted by diners keeping jackets on isn’t the best start and should have rung alarm bells. I did contemplate leaving immediately but without doubt the place looks lovely and hence I ordered drinks. The staff were excellent,...the place lovely but way too cold to stay any length of time and I most certainly couldn’t have eaten (although the food I did see heading to other tables looked very good). Not sure if the heating was down but if it wasn’t it’s a head scratcher on such a dire day weatherwise. On a light hearted note the receipt said “A Kohler Experience” and am muttering to myself on way out a “Kohlder Experience”…
Popped by for a drink after taking our dog out for a walk. We always struggle to find a place to go when we have our kids and our dog in St Andrews so we were delighted to be able to sit by the cozy...fire altogether. Staff are very friendly and courteous and the haggis bite and Parmesan and truffle oil fries we had with our drinks were really good too! Great find! We will be back! (PS sorry we had no cash on us today but will definitely leave tip for the staff next time)
I really enjoyed this pub! The staff is friendly, outgoing, and very attentive. The atmosphere is the best part - with comfortable couches, a fireplace, and old-fashioned tables...

A really charming pub that served great fish and chips. Waiting staff were really friendly. It's dog friendly. Nice pub atmosphere and we had a great night. Would recommend.
Fantastic welcome, lovely food, staff warm. Best of all the staff were great! Really enjoyed a lovely relaxing and friendly lunch after a run along the beach with Morag.

Amazing service. Couldn’t do enough for us. Food was quick and the portions were massive. The food was tasty and we really enjoyed it. Def will be back there

What a charming find in Scotland! We stopped for lunch and were treated to exceptional pub food with excellent service. The portion sizes were generous...
Family and dog friendly with good food and or tv for the sports all a stones throw from the Old Course. Would recommend.
