Great bar/restaurant, delicious food, and fantastic staff (shout out to Max, Rachel, and Sean . What else can you ask for! This restaurant came recommended by a number of locals so we decided to check it out during our Elora get-away New Year’s Eve trip. The staff was super friendly and great company. Skip the tap beers and try some of the unique cocktails here because the bartender, Max, makes fantastic drinks (recommended: gingerbread old fashioned cranberry margarita . We recently had lunch at this restaurant and were impressed with the excellent service we received. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding, specifically the beef brisket sandwich and lobster rolls. The beef brisket sandwich was incredibly juicy and the meat was cooked to perfection. The lobster rolls were also a standout, being one of the best I've ever had and at a great price. The patio area was well-shaded and comfortable, making for a pleasant dining experience. Additionally, my son thoroughly enjoyed the half order of mac and cheese.
During a day trip, we found ourselves in Elora around lunchtime and stumbled upon The Handsome Devil thanks to a lucky parking spot. There were four of us and we all ordered different meals - the mac and cheese, the Rueben sandwich, and the fried chicken sandwich. Each dish was delicious. Despite the busy restaurant, our server was attentive and friendly, regularly checking on us. I can't wait to visit Elora again just so we can go back to The Handsome Devil.
Had dinner here for a ladies night with some friends and the food was amazing. HIGHLY recommend the crispy chicken sandwich and the fries were to die for. Also do not miss the brownie for dessert I could have eaten 5 of them. The food tastes as amazing as it looks! Our server was friendly and funny, we loved her. Loved that chef came out to the tables to see how the meal was really makes you feel valued as a customer! I already can't wait to go back!
Excellent experience! The charcuterie board had great ingredients and lots of different flavors. We also had the steak frites with the peppercorn sauce, delicious ! I’m from France and I can say I was really impressed with the food. Beer selection was really good too! The chef came to check on us at the end and we had a great laugh talking! Definitely a memorable bistro !
I felt so much more beautiful after eating this phenomenal burger. in general garnished with perfectly cooked speck and wobble. salate and tomato were fresh. bun was soft with a beautifully spiced patty. the cheeky sauce is a go home. faster service also on a busy Sunday afternoon. the owner and the chef even came to separate places to check on the tables.
Enjoyed an absolutely delicious lunch here! I had the pickled beet salad, my son had the handsome devil burger, my mom had the corned beef sandwich and my sister had the charcuterie. I tried a little bit of everyone's meals and everything was spot on. Taste was great, food was fresh, patio was a great atmosphere. Price was good. Would definitely return.
We had a fantastic dinner, with the highlight being the charcuterie board. Although the Pork Tomahawk had good flavor, it was quite tough and chewy. The smoked board was also great, with the brisket and chicken being a bit dry but still tasty. Overall, we were impressed with the flavor and service, and we definitely plan on coming back!
When you come to Elora, Ontario do yourself a favour and eat here! The staff here are excellent! I can not say enough about the service. The chef Sean Mills) made a point to come out and ensure that we were satisfied! The menu is phenomenal and Sam is one of the best mixologist around. Love the patio and atmosphere in Elora!
