For family style Korean dining, Hansung is worth coming to with a small group.<br/ <br/ A lot of Korean restaurants might give you 2 3 side dishes, but Hansung will stock you up with like, 10 side dishes of different varieties. I could just have a small bowl of rice and side dishes and be happy.<br/ <br/ The grilled mackerel was delicious, naturally oily and slightly salted from a curing process. <br/ <br/ Kimchi Jjigae spicy, acidic and warming stew, it had a good depth of flavour.<br/ <br/ It's comforting to see many Korean locals frequenting the restaurant as well.<br/ <br/ Come here for an authentic Korean experience!

hansang is the only Korean restaurant in melbourne that serves authentic family-friendly restaurants. while most Korean sites offer 2 3 banchane, hansang brings about 10 of them to present Korean cuisine. we directed ourselves to traditional dishes for our main: braised short ribs, spicy chicken stew, braised pork belly, die fried octopus and more. I enjoyed the most braised short ribs. tender and tasteful with enough texture against the teeth. simply cannot resist delicious juice breaking out with any bite. must try! visit @hansang_restaurant for an authentic Korean experience!

Hello hansang. I and my partner had a diner in hansang tonight at 18-7. we sat at the right corner at the window directly from the entrance. we ordered bark meat brased, seafood pancakes and ochsen soup. Unfortunately, the ochsen soup has a little shredded bark and noodle only without ochsenknochen in it. from error was that we did not mention immediately, only came into the knowledge to increase the problem now. we are fairly dissapointed pay $19 on price day, but don't get what we should be. I visited this restaurant for dinner with a small group, and we left completely satisfied with our Korean food cravings. It's one of the few Korean restaurants in Melbourne that offers 10 complimentary side dishes with your meal. We chose the banquet for four, which included a starter, four main dishes, a mini stew, rice, and ice cream. The food was authentic, and everything we tried was outstanding. Overall, I would definitely return and make this a regular spot for us.

Went the second time to here, hands down side dishes are just amazing. Tried spicy beef soup which was super duper spicy. Lol should have believed them when they say spicy. Also tried this fish stew which was very fishy, fish was nice and soft and felt a lot like homecooked. Seafood pancake was beautiful. We weren’t unable to finish the dishes so we took some home and it only costed us $25 for a dinner so that was really good value.

Authentic Korean food, bit different than what most expect Korean dishes to be (the usual bibimbub in a clay pot). The dishes comes in small sharing portions and you could ask for refill of some of the condiments. Highly recommend to order a bowl of rice for everyone at the table since some of the dishes comes with gravy. Order a couple Sake bottles to share. The price range is decent for the amount of quality of the food.

One of the best Authentic style korean restaurants with a family run vibe. So many nice things on the menu, lots of little plates with different things to try, a really fun way to eat. Staff are friendly and the place was really clean. Recommend giving this place a go! Reserva una mesa ahora

Lovely place and delicious, heart warming food. Lightly seasoned and freshly cooked side dishes, we especially loved Mackerel dish. Tastes just like what you would have in Korean home.
