Enjoy a wonderful Saturday and about early vote, Oddities and Curiosities Expo, and then based on a co-worker recommendation, we stopped here for some Peruvian scarf. The recommendation we received was for the Ceviche; but when I saw the Seco Cabrito on the menu, I had to have it. Who can give up lamb? This place is just great. Friendly staff, excellent food and excellent rates for the portions. I started with a Tamal con Pollo that had an olive oil and an egg inside. Delicious! My Seco Cabrito was almost tender from the bone as I like it, with only a tiny touch of train and a touch of this lamb game taste. She had the Palomilla Streak and was one of the best she ever had. There is no doubt...

We felt like Peruvian and the first place we tried was so full that we landed at Happy Fish. It shows the merger of Peruvian dishes. We ordered Chicha morada, fried fish and Yuca appetizer, and a beef and shrimp entree. Did not get the authentic taste of Chicha morada, as we felt it was too much taste of cinnamon, but this could be a more positive for others. The fried fish appetizer was delicious and the entrees were good. Good ambience, but felt that the place was a little on the expensive side, considering the portion size.

The flavors of all the dishes were actually good BUT, they tasted like it was lacking. It needed more seasoning and more flavors to get the taste of the dish really stand out. Especially the Tallarin Saltado de Carne, the pasta tasted pretty bland and the good flavors that it did have were subtle. Everything was good just watered down. I'd be willing to come back again and give it another chance. Servers were very nice and attentive. Overall 7/10

Let's start from Salchipapa first. I never had peruvian salchicha papa with cheese as please explain these Salchichas. Absolutely evil Salchichas. I also ordered a Lomo-Salzado disappointed. Came to this place because had over 4 star reviews, but I give it a 1st was very disappointed. I love Peruvian food, but this place was not good at all.
