Overall, I like the food here. You have many options that are suitable for many people whether you are rice, noodles when your vegetarian, etc. Your lunch special prices are on the affordable side and also has various options. It comes with soup or egg roll and pork fried rice. But your Chow fun is really good and the beef pieces were huge.
Clean and bright. Pleasant staff. You've been in business for a long time (I'd say at least 15 years? They're in a shopping street so I can always find parking. They managed to stay in business all over the pandemic by just taking off and are now back to the indoor restaurant. Good for her! Very recommended!
One of the better Chinese restaurants in neighborhood! I grew up in the boroughs with many excellent Chinese restaurants and it has been really hard to find good Chinese food in long island! Weird! So many Chinese and asians live in long island. You would think there would be so many more good restaurants!

We've been going to Happy Garden for years. Food and service are consistently good. Definitely one of the better quality, great tasting of Chinese food in the area.
I could be biased as I have eaten from this restaurant as a child, but I guarantee fast turnaround times and good quality food.
I asked for extra duck sauce, they put a handful of hot sauce instead. Chicken fried rice needs more flavor
