Happy Garden Chinese Restaurant

submitted and ordered lunch. the restaurant had customers dinning, in which was nice to see in these current times, was clean, food melting great and the staff was friendly and seems organized. we ordered take-away and were really disappointed at what we unpacked. sweet and sour chicken consisted with shattered chicken pieces in a container and the smallest pot (approximately one tablespoon) of sweet and acidic sauce, enough to cover about two pieces, no pineapple, quite the meal consisted of dry shredded on it itself without soaking and was oily. the special fried rice, what they expect and was ok, but not remarkable, but acceptable the prawn toast was ok, as above the san chow was bow salt...

We seleted four items, Salt and Pepper Squid Tentacles this came out first. It was very tasty and tender. A nice start to our meal Pork and Shark Fin Dumplings very nice texture and flavours. We have had these before. Fresh Scallop Dumplings my favourite. I love the scallop flavour. Crab Meat Dumplings my least flavour. It was mostly vegetables in a crab meat sauce I had a glass of Riesling to wash it down and left  a very sated and happy woman.

By far the best Chinese restaurant I have been to in the Redlands. Took my interstate guests here and will most certainly be back again. Every dish on the banquet we ordered was delicious. Not a single piece went back to the kitchen. Great prices and the food was amazing!

Delicious Chinese food and great customer service. The honey chicken and szechuan chicken are amazing. Best Cleveland chinese restaurant I have been to.

new owner went out of her way to supply hot food if menulog fails, would recommend this place with the new owners
