Bad mangers at hard times cafe It is not worth it working there they messed up on your check 3 times in a row the manager Maria and Gloria Don’t know how to communicate with the employees when holidays come around and we going to be closed they don’t tell the new employees that we are going to be closed it happens to me twice now and they will put you on the schedule and don’t say anything to you about people are going on vacation that you have to filled in they call you and talk to they just put you in automatically without no communication bad management service ever I used to work there the staff and employees will talk to you nasty at anyway maria the manager she will talk about you behi...

Not only is the chili fabulous, but John C. and the team went above and beyond when I lost my wallet in their restaurant. Once they found it between the booth and wall three days later, they shipped it to me UPS since I'd already departed DC. Thanks again, John. I'll definitely visit again next time I'm in the area.

This was a nice, quick, and affordable lunch. The photo is of the chili sampler. I liked them all but thought the vegetarian chili was the best. I had and enjoyed the buffalo chicken wrap and tots. Was able to get seated quickly and the food was served in short time. Recommend a visit when you are in Alexandria.

It's a great little restaurant with a lively atmosphere. We had never been there before and walked in to a full house on a Sunday night. The chilli is amazing and the prices are extremely reasonable. Great service, delicious food. I can't wait to go back. Shout out to Edwin, our server. He was great!

Edwin was an amazing server and a joy. Ask him about the history of chili parlors. He made our experience memorable and he is a testament to what is good about humanity.
