We went for a quiz night on a Thursday We opted to eat as well. The service is excellent. The food is excellent. But… The price point for a pub is a little high, only my opinion, but I will not eat there again. Sadly, restaurant prices in a pub, it’s a bit much. Actually, change that they are dearer than a restaurant, which I just don’t get

Used to frequent this pub as a child with my father. Thought I'd take a trip down memory lane! Sort of how I remembered it as never went inside (children weren't allowed inside in those days lol) but outside is a lovely paved garden with plenty of comfortable seating. Very dog friendly. Food was amazing!

Had a wonderful lunch rounded off with a very yummy sweet, all washed down with a refreshing pint of fine local ale. An excellent job done by the kitchen added to the perfect pub lunch, wish I lived locally.

Fantastic late Sunday lunch for a large group of 11 of us. Gorgeous food (and plenty of it for hungry walkers), great service and all together a lovely lunch thankyou so much

Great atmosphere, service and food. This is a real pub with open fires and good beer. Brilliant for winter evenings for a cosy supper. It's a real pub!
