I had a perfect evening at this restaurant! The staff was warm, friendly, and efficient, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The menu featured a concise yet well-curated list of wines, and the food was outstanding. Clearly, a lot of effort went into crafting many of the dishes, which boasted complex and rich aromas that were all perfectly balanced. The inventive and surprising combinations made for an exceptional dining experience, and the portion sizes were generous yet light and fresh. I typically don't go for three courses, but the menu was so enticing that I couldn't resist!
It’s so great to have a restaurant like Harissa on our doorstep. The food scene in heaton, sandyford and Ouseburn has exploded, With Harissa being a pioneer. The food is excellent and beautifully presented. The wine and beer list is small, but with some mighty choices. The toast beer was fantastic. We will be back time and time again without a doubt.
We had a wonderful evening at Harissa. It was very busy so we were offered free olives as the wait staff thought we had waited a while, butcher wait was worth it! Food was amazing! Very fresh and lots of it! Dessert was terrific with the service being exceptional. Would return and recommend for sure.
Really great food we had one of the best meals we’ve had out in ages. The chicken souvlaki was sublime. Was lovely knowing that it was a social enterprise as well. Highly recommend you won’t be disappointed.

beautiful service, beautifully made in small and a little rugged, but eating was amazing, definitiw would go back eating was decent price, not especially cheap, but in no case expensive
A few months ago, I was visiting Newcastle and staying with a friend. We were talking about Yelp when she mentioned that she would like to review her favorite local cafe.
Delicious food. Great vegetarian options. Superb service. Couldn't ask for more. Would recommend/ have recommended Harissa. Can't wait to return.
We had a really lovely first trip here. Lovely atmosphere, lovely staff, lovely food. The pickles made the meal! Will definitely be back!

Lovely cosy evening between friends. Food was excellent and completely fairly priced. Great fresh ingredients and very tasty dishes.
