Harriets Cheesecakes Unlimited

Fast forward to yesterday (June 13, 2023), I bought three slices of that same cheesecake. I ate half of mine, and my daughter and granddaughter shared one, leaving the third slice untouched. To my disappointment, both of the slices we tried had a burnt taste due to over-roasted pecans (see photos). I called Harriet's today and asked to speak with a manager, but Robin informed me the manager was unavailable. I explained my problem and requested a refund, to which she agreed. This was around 11:07 a.m. Later, at about 12:57 p.m., I called back to ask if I could just receive half of the cost back to avoid making the 20-mile trip for a full refund. Ive heard a lot of good things about Harriett's and told myself if I ever get back in that area, I need to stop in.. well, I was going to be in the LAX area and Im glad I stopped by.First off, the location is a small hole in the wall place in a busy strip mall. I had to park on the street and walk over to the place... First thing I noticed...a line out the door..literally. I jumped in, and when I got closer I eyed the menu of the slices they were serving today.. Banana Pudding immediately caught my eye and so there it was..No place to really eat inside, so I walked back to my vehicle and ate it there. Definitely, the best cheesecake by far! The hype lives up to its name. They now take debt/credit card, which comes as an unfortunate shock because it's highly important and critical when operating a successful business. What I love about their cheesecakes, it's not overly sweet and sugary. (some may be though). All in all, it's worth the money, and the single slice is enough to fill you up! ??

DELICIOUS CHEESECAKES SWEET STAFFIf you don't come check out Harriet's it's your loss, very nice staff and very delicious cheese cakes by the slice or whole. The best cheesecake there is PERIOD! We've been coming here for years every Christmas and Thanksgiving, getting the same thing every time: the Pumpkin prailine. We finally decided to order several different flavors at once and NONE of them disappointed! This is hands down the best cheesecake spot!!!!

We drive hours for this cheesecake. It's so worth it. The praline is our favorite, and we get a slice each as we do not want to share, hahaha. If you are a cheesecake person, and I am not, then you need to treat your taste buds to this wonderful spot and bite into a slice. Have at it and enjoy.

Love the cheesecakes! Such a big variety and they taste so good! I don't like that they still use small paper plates to go. How hard is it to get plastic containers? Well I'll have to remember to bring one myself so I can take home the goodies intact!

They now accept debit and credit cards and of course it's creamy and delicious. Open til 6 now as well
