Even though I lived in Owen Sound for 34 years, my experience at the Harrison Park Restaurant was my first time ever. My granddaughter and I were there for lunch about a month ago. I ordered a Reuben sandwich, my favourite of them all. It was the best Reuben ever, and I've had many of them at delis with good reputations in Toronto. Everything about it was beyond perfect, fresh and super delicious, and even the fries were very tasty. Excellent service as well. We ate on the outside patio, an added treat. I can hardly wait for our trip back to Owen Sound in the fall, so we can order the same thing again. An added bonus Harrison Park is the most beautiful of parks, a hidden treasure well worth...
Want to beat the January blues? Head over to Harrison Park walk your dog, skate, meet up with a friend and then....get Take Out at the Harrison Park Inn Restaurant! Really good eats, lots of variety, very reasonable prices and friendly staff. Today on our menu was hot dogs and fries soooo good and a deserved reward for a long cold walk by the river with our dogs. Had lunch in the car but can't wait til warmer days when we can enjoy lunch on a picnic table in the park. Don't let the cold weather stop you from getting out cause at the end of your efforts is a great take out lunch with your name on it!
We had a wonderful experience at Harrison Park, a lovely restaurant situated in the heart of the park. During our recent visit, we enjoyed a delicious meal here. The food was exceptional and served hot, just as we like it. The restaurant is surrounded by a peaceful atmosphere, with plenty of play areas for children and scenic views of the birds. It’s just a short walk from the restaurant to a serene river, adding to the overall charm of the location.
After our simple wedding, we decided to have a nice dinner here. The service was outstanding, and the staff went above and beyond by staying open late for us. David, we truly appreciate all the effort and support you put into making this happen, and thank you to your team for staying late as well. We were here about 4 times and it was always a good culinary experience. The service is fast, efficient and friendly. The food is always fresh and tasty and perfect. The restaurant itself has huge vaulted ceiling and many windows for natural light, even the tables are far enough apart, you do not feel combed in it. Overall, I think it's a great restaurant.
Valentine's Day dinner was excellent, of the 3 main courses we choose Pork Tenderloin Medallions, with Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Steamed sliced carrots and Grilled Zucchini, this Main course resembled Cruise Line quality food. Kudos to the chef and all the wait staff for making our Valentine's Day special and memorable. We will be back.
We had broken mushrooms, chicken wings (hot) and fish and chips. Everything was fresh and perfectly cooked. The fish was crispy and light, loved the thick chips. The wings came easily out of the bones in the mouth. However, we visited during lunch so it took time to take place. Nevertheless, in the future we will visit again.
