Every time I come home, I make it a point to discover a new restaurant in the Central Jersey area and support local businesses. I’m so glad I found this one! It’s a unique farm-to-table restaurant with a menu that changes with the seasons. Don’t be deceived by its small size; this little spot serves some of the best salmon I’ve ever had. The interior can accommodate about 40-50 people. We were quickly served on a Sunday afternoon and had the opportunity to explore their latest menu offerings. Inside, there’s a wall displaying where all their ingredients come from within the tri-state area, which is very cool! I love supporting local farmers, and I truly believe you can taste the difference!...
So far, my top picks have been the short rib, the apricot goat cheese crostini, and the recent mole pork chop. The side dishes complement the entrees perfectly, enhancing both flavor and nutritional value. I always feel great after eating here—it's definitely nutrient-dense food.
Although I’m not usually a dessert person, my friend insisted we share the chocolate mousse cake, and it was pure bliss! It wasn’t too heavy and paired wonderfully with coffee to cap off a fantastic meal.

Have not been to the Harvest in a few years and decided to venture over to Farmingdale and try it out again. I must tell you that Rita took really good care of us and the food was to die for. I mean, it was really, really scrumptious. I had the petite fillet and scallops and my wife had some Chrostini’s and a mushroom soup that was beyond my wildest dreams. “I never knew mushroom soup could be so good”, said my wife. It is absolutely worth the trip to give this farm to table style restaurant a try!
Another small place with big tastes! Unique tastes that just make your mouth water for more. The addition of kale and spinach to the Cesar salad was a nice touch. Lamb crostini with a hint of mint, delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection, served hot and with a smile, thanks to our awesome server Dana. A bonus that it is BYOB as well :)Looking over the menu, there are a few more things that we need to try. I can see why you need a reservation!

This is an outstanding farm-to-table and seafood restaurant located in Farmingdale, NJ. They proudly display all their ingredient sources on the wall. We had a fantastic dinner featuring Long Island duck breast and jambalaya, along with fresh clams. Our server, Sierra, was exceptional. The restaurant is BYOB, and there's free parking available outside and in the lot behind the building.
Tried this place on a whim and very, very glad we did. Super cute inside, and everyone working there was very pleasant. The food was incredible, fresh ingredients and very obvious that the staff cares about what they do. Will absolutely be back.
Party of 5 and we had about 5 minute wait. No big deal. Place is small but cozy. Service was excellent. Food was delicious. Will go back again. You really need to check this place out.
