It wouldn't have been my choice to go, but I was an invited party. However, there were plenty of tables for a walk in and the staff were friendly and welcoming. A pint to start. A peroni and a pale ale £11.50 (I nearly fell over! The salad bar at a Harvester is always good to be fair, and I had a small dish, my companions filled theirs. We all started with DEEP fried breaded mushrooms with garlic dip (really nice For my main I chose chilli non carne (vegetarian I had 2 forkfulls and left it (wrong choice Denise had chicken stack (she left the majority said it was dry and Liz had roast half chicken (cleared her plate all generously portioned Dessert Liz had vegetarian icecream with strawberry...
We decided to dine at this restaurant for its convenient location near where we were staying. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of vegan options available. I ordered the vegan bean burger and a vegan raspberry mousse, and while they were satisfying, they didn't necessarily blow me away. The waitress was also vegetarian, which sparked an interesting conversation about the differences between vegetarian and vegan diets. It seems like it always comes down to cheese! I would consider returning if in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way to dine here again.
It was a pretty awful experience. The service was extremely slow, the restraint not entirely clean, about 90%of the menu was unavailable (for 4 people ordering starters and mains only 2 items we originally wanted were available). The salad bar was extremely underprepared and empty and the bread stale. Most of the food was gristly and undercooked and inedible. Once we finally had all our food and had finished it took 40 minutes from when we asked for the bill to be brought to finally paying. We were celebrating a birthday and honestly it was a complete disaster.
Second visit to a harvester within a week! This time for lunch after a visit to McArthurGlen. The lunch was nice with lots to offer on a lunch menu. We had the two course set menu and opted for the scampi which was lovely. Overall a good lunch and we had a good time. Staff was nice and services was great. Will definitely visit again if I’m back in the area. Recommended

I normally love going here food mostly really good, on this occasion we waited nearly 30 for our our food, when itinally arrived the steak was beardy warm and was very tuff to eat, the chips were just warm as well as were the onion rings. Really disappointed, I don't eat out very often with my wife and probably won't go here again after this experience.
We had an incredible meal that was high-quality and packed with flavors. Our server was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Thank you, Charlotte, for making our dining experience so enjoyable! We can't wait to return soon.
The server was fantastic. I believe his name was James. He really made our evening. If his name wasn't James, he was still a very friendly and attentive server. He was amazing. The service was excellent. Harvester is fortunate to have him.

The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere and the service was excellent. It was quite busy but we still had an enjoyable meal.
