Harzblut - Reservar una mesa

Love everything about Wernigerode including the many restaurants. I often struggle with what to order due to my poor German language but the owner was helpful and I settled on Lucifer 's lunch (a hot beef dish with delicious gravy) whilst my wife settled on a chicken salad. Both meals were substantial and reasonably priced. The ambiance of the restaurant was cosy and warm with a witches (Hex) theme evident in the restaurant decorations. Well worth the short walk from the main square.

First English review for Harzblut. On a cold December evening this place provided a warm room, a warm welcome from the landlord and huge helpings of tasty German food with suitable amounts of beer wine plus some drink which is served on fire (possibly a Harz Witch favourite ? Very good fun and great value. Well worth the short walk to the end of the High Street (Breite Srasse from the town centre,

We were walking around the center of the city and looking for a restaurant, and while we were looking through a menu of one of restaurants a guy asked us 'Do you wanna eat something local and delicious and not very expensive? ' We said 'Sure! ' 'So go to Harzblut ' he said and explained the way! Glad we met him, cause food was really delicious! Whatever you order I swear you will enjoy!

Seven of us ate in the Harzblut Restaurant in early August 2015. A bit out of the way on the wide street, on a warm summer evening we would rather sit outside on the main square in Wernigerode. But no complaints about food. Very German, top quality, good variety and very helpful staff. Very good value for money. If the weather is bad and you can't sit outside, go to the resin blood.
