we were on a high time in the house hopfensee. already when we arrived, we had to wait for our champagne for a long time to hit the pair of brides. this bad service went through the whole evening: weeping and water were only bad and later not at all gifted so that after dessert we had no drinks on the table. later the main hall was completed - without telling the guests. guests who still had pockets or garments there were very unwillingly led up. helpfulness was completely missing. when some of the things were gone, we came again the next day. there we got to our demand where our hunting could be, only pampy and relatiw unharmed answers. very average Bavarian restaurant. eating was not as expected. is a typical local restaurant, but the quality of eating was not worth the price. we had a lot of different local options and none of them corresponded to the standards of the price they would pay. maul bags do not taste like homemade, most likely they are not. house special with pork fillet and late zle was dry, cordon bleau was also very dry meat. all dishes always with a sauce that tries to taste something, but not the true taste of eating. if they prepare a good dish, they should not need any sauces.

that is probably his guests lies uli pickl and his team especially at the heart!Since 21 years the gastro professional and theatre player has been hosting guests from all over the world in his panoramic restaurant and festive room. special highlight: its hopfensee stage, which celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2016. we also remember the culinary evening with cheese änd roll. with a cheeky mix of pop and jazz, alpine and rock`n`roll, the 4 allgäu musicians enthused us and the public intergenerational. the program just brought fun.Herbert herb with nice guide

I was here with barbaras (astrids) group in December 2016 and was very pleased with the choice of a local restaurant. we could choose between fish and duck, and the duck was absolutely wonderful. the staff was also fast, efficient and friendly. the restaurant itself was nicely maintained and quiet. when we left, was a very large group at the buffet in the entrance area - I am not sure whether this is a regular event or whether it is meetings, office matters, etc. Reserva una mesa ahora

beautiful evening - sitting outside and watching the beautiful sunset over the lake. had the best apfelstrudel of all time with vanilla sauce. the rest of the menu looked good and inexpensive.

I have now visited this locally for a variety of occasions. on the good kitchen is left. the sight of the sea and the allgäu alps are unique.
