This charming little restaurant serves up fresh, delicious food along with friendly service. The croquetas, croqueta preparada sandwich, and Cuban sandwich were all fantastic. The café con leche was exceptional—perfectly foamy and just the right level of sweetness. Every dish was well-seasoned, featuring the ideal blend of spices without any overpowering saltiness. I'm definitely eager to return and try the tripletas and Venezuelan empanadas. Their dessert menu is more extensive than what you normally find in a Cuban café, and the pastries look incredibly fresh and enticing.
A couple of years ago, I ordered a pan con bistec from this restaurant, and it was fantastic. Since I was in the area, I decided to give it another try. I ordered the pan con bistec again, and the pictures show what I received. Can you even call that a pan con bistec? I've never seen it put together so poorly. It cost me $12 plus a service fee! It's safe to say I won't be coming back to this restaurant.
The restaurant serves amazing flavors and delightful dishes, accompanied by friendly and helpful service. I visited for lunch, and the food was not only delicious but also full of flavor, particularly the roast pork. The portions were generous and satisfying, all at very affordable prices. This is an excellent option for a tasty and quick meal, especially compared to any chain restaurant.
The food was disappointing. It felt like a lot of it had been frozen and just reheated, lacking any real authenticity or freshness. The steak sandwich had very little shredded lettuce, and the steak was thin and served cold. The rice and ropa vieja tasted old. The only highlight of the experience was our waiter, who was exceptional.

Wow, this was truly incredible! The host and server were incredibly helpful in recommending appetizers and main dishes, and their suggestions were perfect! The food was authentic and utterly delicious. This restaurant is definitely a hidden gem. I highly recommend it!
Overall, my review is somewhat mixed. The plantains, empanadas, and arroz con pollo were exceptional. We shared flan for dessert, which was absolutely fantastic. The service was friendly and efficient. I would be willing to return for lunch to try their sandwiches.
