The Heid ́s is not in the centre of Heidelberg, but is easily accessible on foot or by car (parking). A reservation is recommended only if you want to sit outside. We went spontaneously there and were lucky to have another table free. After a little longer waiting time, we were assigned to it. The food was fresh and delicious. We had barely had a waiting time and were even surprised about the fast preparation. We were very friendly received at the entrance and also during the stay super supervised. We haven't experienced such an excellent food for a long time that has satisfied us.
