Today, I purchased a coconut water. After drinking it, I noticed the expiration date was March 6, 2019, and today is July 13, 2019. I returned the empty bottle to the store and informed the cashier that they should not be selling expired items. She offered me a refund of $2.99, but I declined. Although I had already consumed the product, I felt the need to share my experience. The coconut water had been on the shelf since January, and it was the first item in the cooler. This experience has made me lose trust in the restaurant, and I will not be returning as a customer. It's disheartening that I have to double-check expiration labels on everything I purchase.
Heinens has a great selection of everything, fresh produce, and many healthy and organic options, as well as a large selection of allergy friendly items (eg gluten-free). It’s easier on the budget than Whole Foods, has the friendliest people working there, and I love their huge wine tasting (eg pour your own sample or full glass) selection and craft brews on tap that you can drink while shopping. They often have brewers in to do beer tastings as well. They also have outdoor cookout festivals with amazing food served and their hatch chili festival is not to miss! What’s not to love about this place?
It's the small details that truly set a place apart. Not only were the staff welcoming, but they paused what they were doing to see if I needed assistance and bid me farewell when I left. I was thoroughly impressed by their exceptional customer service.
