Interesting little lunch spot. One of those places you won't know about unless someone takes you there. Tucked away in an outbuilding next to the North Charleston city hall. Food is good, served by staff who seem to be on a first name basis with half the clientele. There's a daily special on a board- always a good choice. Save room for the cookies and brownies.
The lox was stale, and the matzo ball soup had a strong vinegar taste. The potato knish was rubbery, as if it had been microwaved. I definitely won't be returning.
The food was very tasty and rhe service was great. Very friendly food server as well. The restaurant is tucked away, but it has lots of parking.
