Hendricks Tavern is a not so hidden gem in the heart of Roslyn. Service here is spot on from the valet attendants, host, and wait staff they all made us feel welcome from the start. The ambience is warm, laid back and relaxing! My wife had been been looking forward to trying Hendricks Tavern for some time and her birthday seemed like the perfect opportunity to do so. We made reservations the day prior and had asked to be seated outside given the expected nice weather. When we arrived we were seated without any issues even though there had been a couple of people ahead of us. The food was excellent!!! 10 of us had brunch today at Hendricks Tavern and initially we were outside but the weather was beautiful at 90 degrees so we requested to be moved inside where It was much cooler and comfortable. The brunch menu was quite diverse and the food was not only presented beautifully but tasted amazing. The service was excellent as they were able to accommodate our party in the inside so we'd be more comfortable while we enjoyed our brunch. I definitely recommend this restaurant for brunch lunch dinner.

Our meal was quite average, except for the Rohausters, which were fresh and flavorful. Unfortunately, our server forgot to bring part of our order, but we weren't charged for it, so it appears he missed that part entirely. Such a great experience with great food and wine. The zucchini chips were fantastic. We also ordered filet Mignon which was perfectly cooked to our medium rare request. I think there is room for improvement for the scallop as I am used to the fresh scallop; but it wasn’t bad. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
