Henley Beach Surf Club

We opted to share the seafood platter, which was reasonably priced and came with prawns, calamari, fish, oysters, wedges, and salad. The seafood was fresh and the fish was perfectly cooked. We requested Kirkpatrick oysters instead of natural ones for an additional $2. The platter also came with aioli and tartare sauce. Despite our best efforts, we couldn't finish everything between the two of us. Our friends ordered the beef, which they said was tasty, well-cooked, and filling, served with salad and chips. We visited this club on The Esplanade for sunset drinks. The location, up a few flights of stairs, offers stunning views of Henley Beach and the pier, especially at sunset from the balcony with its clear panels. We ordered and paid for our drinks at the bar, then found some available seats. With a Long Island Iced Tea and a glass of sparkling red wine, we were content on the balcony. It can get chilly this time of year, so we eventually moved back inside to the main bar area. The staff were very friendly.

What a great place! I visited on a Friday afternoon with clear blue skies and a hint of ocean breeze. As long as you understand that this is a Surf Life Saving Club, you'll have a fantastic time. I ordered a cider and a fish burger, both of which were delicious. The chips that came with the burger were especially good - salty and perfectly crunchy. The rest of my group ordered wraps and fish and chips, and everyone seemed very happy with their meals.

Great view right on the beach with a nice bright and open relaxed interior. Had battered fish and chips and oysters Kilpatrick. The fish was a generous portion with a nice light but still crispy batter. The chips had paprika seasoning and the salad was decent. We just came for the view (which is probably the best beach view Adelaide). It's a LSC so we didn't expect much but were really surprised. Lamb wrap was tasty and tender and the wedges were real potatoe! Quesadilla was good to. Thanks for a great meal and great view.

You have to try the schnitzels at the HBSC, they are magnificent. Heaps of toppings, I had the kilpatrick, superb. Chris and his staff will look after you with warm and friendly service.

Steve and his team are friendly and accommodating Great food and well priced . It a regular goto for our family , the sunsets are amazing amd we highly recommend
