we would have read before what many commentators posted on tripadvisor to this restaurant, would have saved us a big and not cheap disappointment.The one belonging to menu du chateau was lukewarm, was served unwirrsch.The salat with foix gras was not at all, they had forgotten the dressing smoothly. the pizza was extremely small and minimalist. the salmon tartar was again as good as not at all and only cut into coarse pieces. the pommes were obviously baked out in lukewarm fat, not just a leak. the location in the center of foix at the foot of the castle is ideal and actually deserves a better kitchen.

On a Sunday evening at the fair, the other restaurants were full or closed, we landed there a little bit perplexed. on the menu, few choices: 2 entries, 2 dishes and 2 desserts with a flexibility inlet/plat/dessert or input/plat or dish/dessert. The two dishes were suitable for us, the oxen was very good as the duck confit. special mention to the homemade fries we have devoured. Inputs and dishes are based on fresh products. the value for money is excellent: 15 euros for dish/dessert, add 2 euros for entry. service was pleasant and fast enough.

a tip: if you decide for this restaurant, choose to look at the view that is beautiful on the castle, it will allow you to forget the plate. On the menu this noon, I offer you fat spaghetti with cold bologna accompanied by false parmesan. You don't want to: here is a frozen and tasteless salmon tartar with frozen fries as well as not cooked enough as well as faded salad leaves. The same were in the Pyrenean salad. I forgot, even the coffee isn't good and the hard bread. like digestion after having to pay such a bad meal.

I ordered a salad of foie gras with dried magret thinking I'd enjoy. really poor in duck magret and I've never eaten fatty liver as bad. Salad sauce has no taste, mixed with oil and water and you will have the same result.As for the atmosphere, I think we fell a bad day, we were able to hear the staff fighting while we were on the terrace.Bref, the restaurant is well placed but if you want to eat well I advise you to go elsewhere. the kitchen is of correct invoice but the service is completely absent. The summun arrived when I got up to try to order two coffees (we had given up desserts.) I was totally transparent. I ended up paying without taking coffee. It's a shame, the place is pretty nice with a pretty quiet terrace.
