I've been here several times. Normally, it is extremely crowded even in the early morning. It's been over 6 months since my last visit. This time, I called in my order. By the time I drove over from Newark, the order was ready, the place was clean wasn't crowded at 6am! As this place gets regulars (mostly men), you'll hear someone speaking with their OUTSIDE voice! Now I did look at ordering from Seamless or GrubHub but the prices are highly inflated. I picked up 2 eggs over easy, grits, turkey sausage wheat toast for $7 when both Seamless/GrubHub wanted $13! So buyer beware. Call in your order and drive to pick it up!
The service has deteriorated lately, or maybe it was just on this particular day. The waitress was juggling multiple tasks—taking orders, packaging food, and ringing up purchases—while the person in the back was preoccupied with their phone. As a result, customers had to wait a long time to receive their food. Food rating: 4/5.
I visited this diner today for the first time. I ordered a waffle, grits and salmon cakes and OJ. They give you a lot of food for your money. I paid around $18.00 for my food and currently having the leftovers for dinner. It’s clean there. The service is very nice and the food is delicious. I will definitely go back again.
The breakfast we ordered met our expectations, and we really enjoyed the meal. The service was excellent, and I would definitely recommend this restaurant for breakfast. They offer both takeout and dine-in options.

The food is incredible. While there can be a wait, it's definitely worth it. The staff is outstanding; everyone from the servers to the cooks and cashiers is fantastic.

This is a charming family-run restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and outstanding breakfast food. I will definitely return for that fish!
I was very surprised that the food was good. Never judge a book by its cover. Food was delicious. Shrimp and fish so flavorful.
