Hermanos Cubanos - Reserva de mesa

In Henley Beach on the Queen's Birthday, there were so many restaurants.  I stumbled upon this hidden gem that I heard so much about but never got to try.  What a perfect day for a pressed sandwich!  We ordered a mojo pork pressed sandwich (Cubano's Cubano) combo and a fish pressed sandwich (Pescado Cubano).  Love the Spanish words popping in the menu here and there and everywhere as I am learning Spanish.  Both sandwiches were excellent.  We loved the flavours so much that I tried to recreate it at home as lunch box.  Hm ... didn't work.  Beverage wise, we ordered a cup of flat white & panela (sugar cane drink with lime).  The coffee was nice...

I really, really want to give this place a higher score. My partner and I loved our sandwiches, they were generously filled and were so satisfying to eat. The jalapeno poppers and sweet potato chips were excellent too. (I'm having the maddest pregnant lady craving for those jalapeno poppers as I type) BUT the only downside was that there was a small piece of chicken in my vego sandwich, which was super disappointing. I'd definitely go back, but to the staff - pleeeaaase pay more attention to peoples dietary requirements. Other than that, the service and meals were amazing.

Wife and I had lunch at Hermanos  in Henley Beach Yesterday.  We have spent much time in Mexico and have close friends from Havana Cuba and are familiar with Cuban sandwiches.  This is step towards the real thing and absolutely delicious.  I had the Cuban and my wife the Butterfish, both made the right way with real Manchego cheese which makes the sandwiches.  Only 2 tables but you can go next door to Molobo to get your beverage and table.  Nice operation, friendly people and good food, Sandwiches were $14 each.

Great little lunch spot at Henley Beach. Love the variety of food. Mainly takeaways but they do have small tables outside and a few seats inside. Had the hermano which was delicious with jerk chicken, cheese and chipotle aioli but a tad too oily. The fried chicken was excellent though. The bread was delicious and could not fault the sweet potato fries with homemade sauce. Crsipy and seasoning was delicious. Reserva una mesa ahora

These guys serve up some of the most amazing sandwiches in the city!! They're simply addictive. My wife (who's a vegetarian) and I go here atleast once a week. Just a note, if you're going after 5pm during the winter season, call to make sure they're open, at times they close earlier than their stated time. Make sure to also order the onion rings with whatever sandwich you get, they're brilliant!!

What a great addition to the ever changing Henley square. Delicious sandwiches full of flavour and the hot dogs are crunchy and topped with many condiments. We tried the jalapeño poppers and sweet potato fries side they did not disappoint. Well fried, crunchy and something not often found around this area. We will definitely be returning

Cute little shop in the wall right by the newly revamped Henley Beach Square. Perfect for a quick takeaway for you to bring to the beach to enjoy. The interior is nice and quaint and the choices are lovely - sandwiches, coffees, shakes, churros. Very cute.

Amazing brownies (whole chunks of macadamias), okay squid (lots of batter and small rings, but the spice flavours were great), reasonable coffee. Breakfast menu looks great though, will definitely be back to try that. Reserva una mesa ahora

I don't think you can underestimate the power of a good sandwich - yummy food, good drinks, nice casual atmosphere- great for a beach takeaway, different to the norm. We'll be back for sure.

Tried the jerk chicken sandwich and it was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. Will be heading back to sample the rest of the menu.
