I've been coming here for years, speficially to this location. My family tried this place about seven or eight years ago. A year later we would pick up food from here almost every other Saturday. It was a fun little outing for my dad and me. My dad would get the Godzilla burrito. My go-to for years has been the Cajun Chicken burrito (whole wheat tortilla, chicken thigh- small peices, less sour cream). The burritos are filling so I'd typically share with my mom when we got home. Unfortunately, my dad fell ill and couldn't eat here anymore due to new dietary rules as well as meds he was taking. So we stopped coming here as we felt bad eating it when he wasn't able to. After he passed, for some...

As an East Bay local, I 'm a big fan of Blackhawk High Tech Burrito. Their dishes are really unique and tasty, especially their version of Cajun Shrimp Street Tacos. But here 's the interesting part you can customize it so it is not served as a traditional taco. Instead, they put all the good stuff over a bowl of rice. Also a quick tip, order it as a double order to make it more filling. So let 's begin: You get the same fresh Cajun shrimp that 's perfectly cooked with just the right amount of flavor. It 's lightly spiced, so it 's not too hot, but still really flavorful. Then, this delicious shrimp sits on top of soft, perfectly cooked rice. It 's kind of like a shrimp and rice bowl, rather...
It has been a long time since I last ate at High Tech Burrito back in the day when they sold a Surf and Turf burrito. I stopped by Bagel Street Cafe but they were close to closing with limited bread choices. I decided to stop in at High Tech as my 2nd choice. The burrito is decent size. Initially, I thought $13.50 was pricey but the prices of almost everything has shot up so the price is probably within the range of normal. I ordered the Super Burrito with steak. The ingredients were fresh, the meat or something was a bit salty but overall it was a good burrito. I shot a picture of the burrito cut in half showing the ingredients. I will drop in again and try the Al Pastor next time.
I always try to give this place the benefit of the doubt but it never pulls through. I ordered and paid extra for double chicken and literally got 10 fingernail sized chicken bites. When my boyfriend picked up the order the whole staff gave him sass about him verifying the double chicken. The quesadilla we ordered was truly laughable and looks like a 4 year old put it together. Meat quality is trash, salads are not worth a single penny, and staff truly sucks. Not worth your time or your money. Hopefully will go out of business soon and we can get some true Mexican food. Used to be good. They tried to be a 360 burrito in walnut creek but failed Its basically just ok but these are white guys burritos from danville and alamo there not mexican burritos as we know it And whoever is running and marketing this place needs to try managing McDonald's on monument
Went for lunch the food is tasteless and expensive. The drinks were not good either had mango Fresca light as well just ordered water
I love this place. The Cajun chicken breast burrito is legit and different than other burrito spots! Give it a try if you like spicy!
Absolutely amazing and fresh burritos every single time they always get it right. Friendly staff and great food 5/5! Reserva una mesa ahora
