We visited here with our family and the view from the restaurant is great harbour and boats. The buffet is varied and all good food. The pricing is unusual but good for those with children, one dollar per year so if your child is age 6 you pay $6, what great value as our grandchildren can almost eat their own weight at buffets. Price per adult is cool and worth every dollar.Drinks are likewise good value, no rip off prices here.We will go back.
Sister booked to have a function to celebrate my nephews baptism. The staff were wonderful to deal with and went above and beyond to meet our needs. Food was great and much bigger portions than expected! all the guests were raving on what a great time they had. and the venue is modern and has beautiful unadulterated views of the harbour. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great venue with value for money and views to impress,
We recently had our wedding, including the ceremony and reception, at the Yacht Club and it was absolutely perfect! From the attentive wait staff and flawless set up to the delicious food and seamless coordination with Kylee from out of town, everything was handled with ease and professionalism, all with a warm and friendly demeanor. A huge thank you to Kylee and everyone involved for making our special day even more unforgettable!
We had our wedding at the yacht club and can not thank the team enough they knew exactly what they were doing and made the night run so smoothly with both the ceremony and reception. This is a lovely restaurant with views to die for. The menu is not too large - which is a good thing. Quality as opposed to quantity I believe. Their fish of the day is always fresh and good and the accompaniments generous. The staff - especially Jacqui - are attentive & friendly & nothing is too much trouble. A great place to eat, absorb the atmosphere & enjoy the amazing ocean view.
During my trip to Australia, I had the opportunity to try seafood platters in both Queensland and New South Wales, but it wasn't until I dined at HYC that I found the best one. The food was excellent, the staff were friendly, and the overall experience was truly enjoyable.
We've ate in the main restaurant quite a lot, Friday night buffets are the best, great seafood, lovely carvery, sweets to die for, also upstairs is good too lovely views, great sunsets
