Fresh bagels are made daily at this location, and they are undoubtedly the best in the area. While the food is on the pricier side, the service is excellent and the staff is friendly. I order from Hillside twice a week, spending about $13 each time. If you’re willing to spend a little extra for a superior breakfast, Hillside is a fantastic choice. However, if cost is your primary concern, you may want to look for other options. The owner is always on-site, which helps ensure that the staff is working diligently and producing high-quality food. I had three scrambled eggs, three strips of bacon, toast, two pancakes, and a cup of coffee for $28. The food was average, and the service was also just okay. However, the prices were above average and seemed to be inflated due to the neighborhood. I recommend going up the street to Hi Diddle Dee, where you can get the same quality food at a better price. Overall, I would rate the food a 2 out of 5.
I wanted to give a new place a try I Placed a order for a Greek omelette first off HOW WAS THERE NO FETA IN A GREEK OMELETTE… second I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and this is the sad bagel they sent me, I’ll never again order from here what a waste of 30$ I’ll just stick to not just bagels for now on smh.
Every time we order delivery from them there’s an issue. Sometimes it takes up to 2 hours for the food to arrive. Today they cancelled our order on us an hour after we placed it, because they had no driver available.They’ll never get our business again.

Hillside Gourmet is actually really amazing. I loved the style and the ambiance of this place. Extremely flavorful and nutritious. I don't have any complaints. Service is great. We felt really welcomed at Hillside Gourmet.
The sandwiches and wraps are always delicious, fresh, and well-prepared. They also serve fantastic, strong coffee. I've been a satisfied customer for years!
The staff is so friendly and helpful. I've been coming here for years and their service always impresses me. Their food is also great at great prices too.
I have been going there with my son on Saturdays for years. They have delicious bagels and great coffee.
