Great experience with both food quality and service from Hilltop yesterday. Deliveroo person conveniently decided to 'Not deliver ' our food. Complaining to deliveroo customer service was useless and cold shouldered. (eventually they just issued a refund and were very indifferent to our bad experience). Called Hilltop and they were very sorry for the bad experience even though it was not their mistake. He offered to resend the food. I decided to collect it my self. Food was exceptional and we enjoyed the food. Very happy with the way Hilltop management treat our case and extra mile they went to service customer. They also gave a discount on my bill.
I like this place when they want Indian food, then I have to suggest this place. the hospitality was very nice. they serve us according to our taste and the good part is it definitiw fit into their budget. we ordered dosa, samosa, mix vegetablesabji, butter naan, chili distributor and jeera reis dal tadka and it costs us around 30 pfund, which is much cheaper. try it.
Fantastic food, wonderful venue and really welcoming staff that can't do enough for you. We had a large party of maybe 15-20 people. We had all pre ordered. Service was really good, food was tasty and hot, served on warm plates. We all enjoyed our evening here. I would certainly recommend this restaurant if you like Indian food full of flavour.
I ordered takeout tonight and was disappointed that everything was smothered in chili. The vegetarian biriyani, fish, samosa, and dosa were all too spicy, making it an unpleasant dining experience. This might be suitable for those who enjoy spicy food after a few beers, but not for anyone trying to enjoy a meal at home.

The food is deliciously prepared with flavorful sauces. However, the drink selection is limited, especially with not all beers listed being available. Additionally, be cautious when ordering wine, as our glass of rose had a lot of sediment and seemed to be less than what was advertised. Proceed with caution.
I placed an online order with this restaurant for the first time. They are currently ranked 6th for Indian restaurants in Gloucester, but I have no idea why. The curry I received was possibly the worst I have ever had - it had a strange taste and no texture. I will not be ordering from them again.
wow what a lovely place to eat I strongly recommend eating it was the best thing I ever tasted a strong statement, but a very true love only the decor and the love to detail great for intimate restaurants and for groups beautiful atmosphere the personal is so helpful you will love it
my family has loved this place for years. this time we had letis, popadoms pickles, fish cut, samosas, vada, kothu, goan fish curry, garlauch naan, pilau reis. good attentive service and delicious food. parking is directly opposite.

Really enjoyed the food and service here. They have a good selection of authentic beers and the Sri Lankan food is a devine addition to the Indian cuisine here.
