Himmels Pagode - Reserva de mesa

Although Himmels Pagoda is about a 45 minute drive outside of Berlin, it seems it attracts local Berliners as well as tourists. We were taken there by a relative who lives in Berlin because he thought we would enjoy it. Reservations are a must; the restaurant is always busy. From what we were told, everything in the restaurant was brought from China to preserve the integrity of the very impressive and very large physical structure. (Have your cameras ready.) Everyone in our group ordered something different from an enormous menu of Asian food. (No one ordered the buffet so I cannot comment on it.) Amazing building structure. For a unique dining experience I recommend. We had the buffet but next time I will definitely order from the menu instead. Lots of options on the buffet yet vegetables are flavorless and soggy as they are drowned in water in serving trays. I loved the tom yum mushroom soup! Flavorful and well balanced with peppers. Other foods fine but all meat entrees on buffet taste about the same. Lots of fried foods which were dried out - probably sitting too long. Price is very reasonable. We decided to eat out Chinese style. We had seen the Himmels Pagode passing by and chose to go there. It has a lot of seats and the service was very efficient. We had fortune cookies within minutes after ordering and everything was good in time. The meals, we had duck and the children chose chicken, was very good and a big portion, too! So we had value for money!We will definitely go there again. Perhaps in summer to be able to sit outside.

The place is amazing, a huge chinese pagoda built up in germany heuen neuendorf, with rich decors.The formula is "à la carte" or the "all you can eat" buffet.The buffet costs 16 euro, you can eat as you want but the food choice is limited and the quality is not very good.Probably with the formula "à la carte" the food quality is better, but for sure it will cost more.Anyway the place worths a visit, just to tell "I was there". The building is a replica of the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, China. Food is good, especially the Chinese food. I have been there before and this time I ordered Thai food, and I was not impressed. Way to many different vegetables in the Curry. It seems that they added whatever was cooked to much of ended up in the Thai Curry.Otherwise, all the Chinese dishes we ordered were very good.

The restaurant is really nice as of its design and decoration. The food is good they serve a lot and all plates have a little fire underneath to keep it warm. Its not so far from Berlin city center and its not pricey. Will def. stop by when I go back to Germany.

It is big, but separated with wooden walls.So you have a kind of small rooms.The food is very delicious, and the presentation is good.You have the possibility to have your meal a la carte, or till 8 o'clock also as a "all you can eat" buffet.

Has the buffet with family, the buffet was not that great, food was extremely salty. Also noticed that the staff sleeps in the basement of the building... Was not impressed at all. Nice building but poor food. Reserva una mesa ahora

Really nice place. The foods came quickly and it was delicious. A bit funny bat the toilet fantastic :)
