Hofstede's Country Barn

Went here again today and just love this little place...Its a little cafe/lunch counter/deli kind of place where you can order soups and great panini sandwiches,....Have a full deli with all kind of salads and prepared food,,,,,.just wonderful...and you can shop there as well and...pick up fresh vegetables and a decent price and many other grocery items you don't necessarily see in regular stores. I bought a beautiful hand made basket for my daughter there for her birthday and one for myself..They import these baskets from Africa and they are fair trade which is an added bonus. A great place to have in any city...I love it.

This place has a great little restaurant tucked away in the back. You have to walk past the fruits and vegetables to find it. We had a soup and sandwich which we ordered at the counter and waited at a table for someone to bring...it. All of the tables were dirty so we had to find their cleaning rag and clean up ourselves. Guess that's what you get when the place is popular, busy staff.

A family owned produce store,with a bakery, deli, restaurant, dutch foods and ingredients. The store restaurant always smells like home. The store is very Old world charm. The products are always fresh and the staff is always friendly. I shop here once a week,...and have done for fifteen years. I would recomend this store to everyone.

than a restaurant .... also a vegetable deli market place . Great homemade soups .... sandwiches are generous and made to order , choice of bread etc. .... prices are reasonable ... limited seating area but turnover is quick. Deli counter worth the...visit .

Used to go in all the time, getting a bit bland, service struggles. Have they cut down in staff? Soup is still good, scones are now size and do not have the previous content. I do not do the desert, however, they sill look...lovely.

I loved the European choices of fresh produce, meats, cheeses and breads. The owner came down from office to answer questions. I now go once a week
