I heard a year from this place and made it for lunch today. With activity and many customers. Friendly staff and attentive to their customers. Loved the lift Bridge Root beer on tap! ordered the corn beef and the cup of the sausage and the German potato soup. Really enjoyed the soup! Delicious aromas and very hearty! The bread on which the sandwich was made was just as good. Very fresh and complicated the sandwich. Unfortunately, the amount of beef on the sandwich left much to be desired. The meat wasn't even enough from one end of the roll to the other only salad. Next time, I'll try the Bratbeef.

Eat one of our favorite spots when we're in Northfield. Delicious hot sandwiches on super soft bread and a nice selection of soups to go with it. The perfect lunch place on a cold or rainy day! Rustic old buildings feel, many local artists work displayed, and even live music occasionally.

Best hay in MN! Her wheat bread is freshly baked and they have this secret sauce that is incredible. We love the ham loaded with a page extra sauce. Go cold with heated vs. Last but not least, Margaret goes out of her way to make sure you have a good meal.
