four of us went last night to hoggs bistro and it was a fantastic evening. beautiful layout and decorations and a beautiful view of the garden. very friendly and helpful staff. great selection of drinks. eating was divine, a simple menu, but perfectly executed, absolutely delicious. very decent price for what we have for the four of us. starter, mains, dessert, coffee and chocolate to end divine. will be back again, thanks for such a beautiful evening!

love going for lunch and as a special treat dinner too. Very English and good menu. Dessert choices make me regret having starter but still have starter. My wife and I and family love the treat when we go. Parking: OK for dinner but awkward for lunch. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other

Lovely little bistro. Chilled atmosphere in a quiet village. Derbyshire is brilliant. Parking: I think it's free parking just 50 yards away. I walked to the bistro. Kid-friendliness: Not for the little brats. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £1–10
