We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The haramuki and seafood soup were both delicious (just a heads up, the soup is enough for two!). The sushi was good, with the John’s Island roll being a standout. The restaurant is quite small and casual, lacking in fancy decor or ambiance. However, the service was excellent.
Really friendly staff and good quality rolls for a reasonable price. The negotiable gyoza was very good. I had the crispy rolls and enjoyed them very much. They have a wide range of items to choose from in the menu and my entire group enjoyed their dinner and we all agreed we would return.
We went for a date night and expected a little more ambience from the pictures. Half of the room was so advertised, and the other half felt like a take center. It is perfect for a relaxed date, lunch or a quick bite. If you want the whole round, I would choose another choice.
The high volume of takeout orders creates a crowded atmosphere that can almost feel disconnected from the dining experience. It would definitely be beneficial to assign a dedicated staff member to handle this service, as it detracts from the overall enjoyment of dining in. Reserva una mesa ahora
We enjoyed our meal very much. Haramuki and seafood soup were delicious. (Be warn. the soup is enough for two) The sushi was good with the John's Island Roll as standout. Very small, casual place not unusual and no ambience. The service was wonderful.
High volume of “go” orders, almost need to separate from Diners, Definitely would help to dedicate an employee to this service; takes away from the “dine in” experience.
Birthday dinner. Enjoyed a lovely evening at Hokkaido with family. Attentive and welcoming service, great food and good value. We will definitely return.
