Gave this restaurant a try last night while my Fiance and I were in Edmonton and I have to say one of the best decisions we have made. Neither of us wanted the typical restaurants like Earls or the The Keg, let me tell you this restaurant is not like those typical places. Right away when we walked in we were greeted, the food was AMAZING! The elk meat was delicious! Items on the menu that I wasn't familiar with was explained in detail which is perfect :) highly recommend this restaurant!
We recently visited Edmonton from our ranch in eastern Saskatchewan and discovered this fabulous restaurant! We were hoping for not only excellent tasty food at a reasonable price but a cozy, comfortable atmosphere. We scored! Indigenous theme with open fire and deeeelicious meals! Tender ribs, perfect steak and the best mixed vegetables ever! Add to that our "crazy" fun waiter and we chose to come back with our friends the next night as well. Definitely this rancher's choice!
Dinner was great with the family at the Homefire grill. I had to intentionally make a tripadvisor account just to give a great review. I think it was the manager serving us but he was great. Food was awesome and this place was right across the parking lot from our hotel. Would definitely make a point to eat here again when we visit Edmonton in the future.
We had dinner on a weekend, service was excellent, we were meeting friends so wanted to catch up on news. One or server was aware of tis he did not rush us but stayed attentive to our needs. Homefire can be a little hard to find. It is on a one way street in the parking lot of a hotel. The setting is nice the waiter was friendly and informative. The food was very good and they offer some different specials.
The menu has many unique and interesting items to choose from. Service is quick and efficient. Highly recommend the Guinness beef stew, excellent flavor, good portion ensures your leave full.
The food is good but not worth the money. Best to drive as many spots to eat close by. I feel this place thinks they can charge extra because they are close to so many hotels.

"Absolutely fabulous. Incredible decor and beautiful atmosphere. Staff were polite and attentive. I also had tiramisu for the first time and it's my new favorite dessert! Can't wait to come back."
