Homestead Solana Beach

Our party of five enjoyed Sunday brunch for a birthday celebration. Mariah ? was our server and she was very pleasant. We started with the cheese and crackers, which the menu boasted included life changing cheese. It did not disappoint! Three of us ordered the Eggie Croissant, one ordered the Tarragon Chicken Sandwich, and one ordered the Eggie Pastrami and Swiss that came on an everything bagel. They gladly substituted a croissant for her. Everything was super yummy. We also ordered the Lemon Thyme Ricotta Toast to share, and while it sounded yummy, it did not have much flavor. I would not recommend that dish. The atmosphere was nice, and we could hear music from the Farmer 's Market starting at noon. All-in-All it was a lovely experience. I will definitely come back again!

What experience? After MULTIPLE reminders of my reservation, friends that drove over an hour to get here , we show up and they are closed!! I made the reservation almost a month in advance and no courtesy to let me know they were going to closed for a private event. Sorry, as a local resident of over 50 years, there are too many other choices. No second chance for this place.

Everything we tried was delicious! Hummus very unique and tasty. Dining is all outdoors. They have blankets but no heat lamps.

This is staple for us in the neighborhood. Aways has consistently good food and excellent service.
