The food we ordered was served cold instead of toasted, and we spent most of our twenty-minute wait watching the sandwich artist standing around. When we inquired about the missing veggie patty in our sandwich, the employee simply shrugged and mentioned they were out of stock. It would have been preferable to be informed earlier about this. We asked if we could instead be charged for a veggie delight sandwich, but the employee dismissed our request with another shrug. While I understand the challenges of working in the restaurant industry, I believe better communication could have improved our experience.
Chris, the owner, was amazing to work with! He helped me create a menu for my office? Thanksgiving menu. He was easy to get a hold, react and friendly. He even helped me unload everything when he delivered the food. The food was DELICIOUS! Everyone in my office was so excited!
I'm crazy about Homewood Gourmet. I have always ordered the shrimp-po-boy with a cup of gumbo, which is always fantastic, but recently I was really in the chicken salad and baby-bleu salad on the side. This cozy little lunch place is always the place to go!
Homewood Gourmet has great casseroles and a has pretty good choices too. My only wish is that they would add some new choices of casseroles. The young lady that works behind the cash register is great! Always smiling and keeps the check out area clean

In this subway you have bilingualism, multicultural staff, great and friendly attitude, clean and I just love the fact that all of this is in one of our business in Homewood alabama .
Wonderful experience! Needs some appetizers / small bites for a Christmas cocktail party and chis has a wonderful job. Everything was delicious, we will definitely use again!!!!
Had this on Farmers Market and Pepperplace and it was delicious. I went back for seconds and it sold at 11:00! I think it was called? Boudin Plate? We love it!!!
I stopped by for lunch and was blown away by this place. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Highly recommend.

website says they close at 8. I'm out now and they close with the door locked.
