This bakery is one of the stores located within Bell Market. As I've stated in the past, I never mind paying a little more if the quality of the food warrants the price. That being said, some of their foods appear a little expensive, with donuts for $3.75 although they look amazing with some amazing flavor combinations, I have yet to try them. Their coffee is pretty good and with my recent transition to decaf I was glad to see them brewing a fresh cup with my order, And it was good, really good. I forgot it was decaf. I really like their bagels, they have a different more airy texture vs a typical NYC bagel. And they make some nice breakfast sandwiches although they try to out a some special...
On the barista's recommendation, I tried the brown sugar lavender matcha, and it did not disappoint. It was incredibly creamy with a hint of floral notes and just the right level of sweetness. I found it absolutely delicious and will definitely be ordering it again! I also grabbed an everything bagel bite, which was filled with creamy scallion cheese. The bagel itself was wonderfully fluffy, reminiscent of the soft center of a fresh New York-style bagel.
I wanted to enjoy this place; the service was excellent. However, the $10 salad was disappointing, featuring only a few bacon bits and not enough dressing. When I requested a little extra dressing, it came with a $1 charge. No thanks.
This place is a real gem! The coffee is fantastic, crafted by dedicated staff. You won't forget their Vietnamese cold brew!
