To be frank, this is the first time of many that I 've been disappointed in the food. $5 extra to make a beef dip into a Philly...expectations were very high considering the usual quality. 2 pieces of green pepper and very few onions with 2 pieces of cheese...for 5 freakin dollars!!! As it is, I had a guest who had never been before and she won 't be going back. Not gonna lie...I expected better out of them. Based on my last visit, I can 't, in good conscience, recommend them to anyone.As I 'm unable to submit a rebuttal to replies...I come from a long line in the restaurant industry. My coworker and i are from the US and came to Canada for business. We found Honkers online and went to check it out for lunch. And i have to tell you, the service and food were fantastic! Everything was hot, fresh and well seasoned. The waitress who served us was very personable and a delight to talk to. We came back again a couple of days later and had another fantastic experience from food to service. The owner, Vicky, even took a few minutes out of her time to talk to us so we could tell her of our experiences. I had heard glowing reviews about the burgers here, so I decided to give them a try. When our food arrived, I immediately knew it was going to be fantastic. The burger was massive, and the fries were perfectly crispy—not too light or too dark. The gravy was absolutely to die for. We soon realized that two women could easily share one burger with fries, and I'm definitely going to return to sample more items from the menu—like wing night, for instance!

Honkers catered our wedding last weekend, and it was absolutely perfect! The food was delightful, and the service was outstanding. Good food, excellent, friendly customer service. I also booked several workshops in the Nest by Honkers. The set up is perfect with the screen option. Vicky was very helpful with booking, accommodating my set up requests. She even helped with taking photos about my events so I could post more quality pictures on my social media.

Placed a bigger order for pick up for the work crew and everyone is always so happy with the food. I especially love the Spinach Dip!!! My partner and I will go to other restaurants in the city and order the spinach dip just to find the best in town and so far it is at Honkers. Service is always on point too!

Honkers is one of the best dive's in Southern Alberta. The food is always quick and hot, tons of local talent daily on their stage The atmosphere is unique yet makes me feel like I never left my favourite bar back home.Also they have pretty awesome shirts!

Just started going to Honkers a few months ago. Love going for wing night. Super laid back, food is great, we always end up with the same waitress who is wonderful.
