Oh, the missing star is for Fridays. THE MUSIC IS RIDICULOUSLY LOUD AND DISTURBING. You can't even talk to your people at your table because it's so loud. We all had headaches that night. No need for a DJ at a crab boil. Like NO.Visited twice before giving a review! The boils are DELICIOUS! Both visits we had a party of 8 or more. Drinks were good. The chicken wings are amazing. Dont get the crab fries (imitation crab yuck).Service is hit or miss. The margaritas were great, while the other drinks could have used a bit more flavor, though the alcohol was definitely present. The crabmeat fries came with imitation crab, which was acceptable, but the sauce was a bit unusual. We were all quite hungry, and the portion was large enough to feed 8-10 people. I probably wouldn’t order it again unless I got the sauce on the side. A half-pound order to share would have sufficed. The shrimp, which came with the shells still on but heads removed, was good, but I’d recommend skipping the garlic butter and going for the Cajun option instead, which was perfectly seasoned and spicy. I really enjoyed Hook Reel overall would return. Meka makes the best drinks! For food, I got a boil bag with crab, shrimp, sausage, corn, potatoes noodles. I got the signature sauce. I really liked the sauce but could’ve used a little more of it. The shrimp was really good. I’m from the east coast near seafood so I’m a bit of a seafood snob so I think the crab could’ve been a little more fresh. Loved the lemon pepper wings. They were crispy, and the meat was tender. My friend really enjoyed the catfish po boy. Give it a try.

I was hesitant at first by this place but then gave it a shot tonight with my 5 year old daughter and was pleasantly surprised how good this was. I had the king crab which was cooked to perfection and my daughter loved the mozzarella sticks but loved eating my crab more. Prices are right in my opinion and portion was perfect. I will be back to explore the rest of the menu. As far as first time dining here it went perfectly. I left full and satisfied and told a few friends about the place also. TY Reserva una mesa ahora

I went here for my birthday, and it was a complete disappointment. I felt like I had to go to the bar to make my own drink because of the long wait. They seated us right under a cold vent, which was uncomfortable since I had kids with me, so we ended up moving to another table. The waitress seemed rushed and eager to get us to pay because her shift was ending. I didn't even get a birthday song, which was disappointing. The food was just okay, but I don’t think I’ll be returning.

There are plenty of options available that taste very good. They have several SPEACIALS that make it affordable instead of ordering a la carte. Each time I've gone, I lucked up with it not being too busy, so service was good.

Came here a few times . Last time coming here 10/19/23 8:03pm . Order wasn’t right but the food was terrible at most . Won’t be returning . Apple Bees next door is a better

The food was cold and sauce was bland and super thick taking away from the oysters. I would not order again, and I love seafood.

This has become one of my new favorite spots! Server Lewis is fantastic. I can't wait to visit again soon. Thank you!
