Hooksey's Fish & Chips

Stopped by and ordered the double fish (haddock) and chips with gravy. The place was busy, the lady that took my order Sunday was pleasant to deal with. The haddock was good, the wife enjoyed the thicker batter and they were fried to a perfect crisp, the fries were hand cut maybe double fried which was good, I enjoyed the gravy. The only thing is they don’t make their own tartar sauce which would have been great to see. We fed two adults and two little humans with the order (under $30).

Excellent value and very well-sized portions. We went for the haddock and chips with an extra piece of halibut. Delicious! With a side of gravy (yum! we finished our meals in a flash. The service was awesome. Quickly served with the friendliness we all yearn for. We would have posted photos, but forgot to take them as we were drawn into our meals!

Went here for breakfast with my brothers family on a Saturday morning. Very homey place. Lots of regulars. Not overly fancy but a good breakfast with friendly staff and quick service. I had the breakfast with the peameal bacon. Good serving size.

Delicious fish and chips! Taste very good and fresh, portion are big. Highly recommended. The mushroom omelette taste good and big portion as well. We also had fish with Greek salad, the salad portion are big and taste very fresh and good. Reserva una mesa ahora

This restaurant has a great breakfast and greek salad. The owner will not give out her recipe for the greek salad dressing. Nice family restaurant. Can't go wrong.

Great food all around! I had breakfast there last and it was a great meal. Standard greasy-spoon style restaurant. Even the police were there eating.
