Ok soooo lets have it. The truth. Is it REALLY about the wings???? Me-thinks-not!!! I visited this restaurant ONE, because it was new TWO because of a lunch meeting. We ordered non-alcoholic drinks (work hours), sandwiches, wings wings more wings... Lots of activity inside the restaurant, which helps to pass the time; being a fairly new restaurant, the wait was approximately greater than an hour. So to facilitate the wait for a table, you give your cell phone number once your table is ready, you are sent a text message (oh they send periodic updates advising when your table will ready). The food was good. I'm told the wings were GREAT (I don't eat chicken). And I KNOW the eye candy is the DR...
I ordered the garlic habanero naked wings to take out, and they were quite tasty, with just a subtle hint of habanero heat that gave my lips a pleasant tingle. However, what really stood out to everyone was the hardworking attitude of the servers, who made it a point to deliver top-notch customer service. Jessica, a young woman at the bar who took my takeout order, was particularly impressive. She managed to enter my order, greet a new customer, clean the bar, process my credit card, and start preparing a drink for another patron—all in under a minute! When I complimented her on her multitasking skills, she laughed and said that it gets busy, and if you don't keep up, you’ll be overwhelmed....
Usually we really enjoy this Hooters location. This trip was really disappointing. Restaurant had about 10 tables of customers but service was surprisingly slow. Noticed many new changes but unsure if Hooters policy change, local management change or just a bad day. Decided to start off with lots-of-tots and a Chicken quesadilla as we always do. Tots order was half the size of every other Hooters location. Quesadilla was brought out and we found out the menu had changed (our bad for not noticing). It is no longer a Chicken Quesadilla, it is a fajita style chicken quesadilla. Not at all impressed. The wings were great, as always. My lunch companion ordered the Philly and was happy with it.
I've ordered from this restaurant three times since moving here in December through Door Dash, and each time, I've either received a large portion of my order missing or it hasn't been correct. I've spoken to the managers and was promised a refund, but that never materialized. The service here is some of the worst I've ever encountered. Having worked in the food industry myself, including at Hooters, I believe this place needs to shut down because they clearly don't care about what they send out. Waitress never gave straws with our cokes. Had to stop them to get some. They brought out the appetizer 5 minutes after the main meal. They never brought the wings out. Had to wait 15 minutes after we finished eating to get the wings. The waitress and the cook just stood there staring at us from the kitchen as we waited. Horrible service. The food was good but the service doesn't make it worth it.
