We had an AMAZING lunch at SOGO Japanese Restaurant today!!! We went around noon today and there was not a single person at the hibachi table, so my wife and I enjoyed every second together! The chef was interactive with us, and made us laugh pretty frequently. The lunch filet mignon hibachi special was SOOO much more affordable than the same meal you would order for dinner, and the serving sizes are exactly the same! The lunch hibachi hot plates are very affordable though. They serve you a ginger dressed salad with clear rice noodle soup as the appetizer and filet mignon, friend rice with scrambled eggs and garlic and vegetables. We are regulars here! Imo best sushi in Slidell and for 16.95 you get a soup, salad, and 3 rolls off the dinner menu! Picture is of 2 Travis rolls and the Shrimp roll! Side of spicy mayo! And of the Miso soup! I can honestly vouch for the Travis roll, it has crab, crawfish, and avocado! Ask to be seated at John’s section, he’s been our server for several years now and never disappointed us!

Great place. It has a family vibe. They let me change my seat reservation three times. Our server Ashley was amazing. It was my son 11. Birthday party and she did everything to help me surprise him with his cake. The food was great. I earned my money. If I'm ever in Slidell for lunch, I'll eat there again.

My go to place for sushi in Slidell. Always good service and excellent sushi. My regular is seaweed salad and a Budda Belly roll, that roll is the best I've had. The only cooked menu items I've had are green mussels and gyosa ? dumplings. Both of these dishes are excellent as well. Reserva una mesa ahora

The food was excellent! I tried the volcano roll, spicy tuna roll, seaweed salad, and hibachi chicken—all were delicious. Despite having only two servers who were quite busy, the service was better than I've experienced in many places with more staff. I will definitely be back!
