My husband and I found Hop Sing Palace by looking for a gluten free option on our way back from Apple Hill this past Sunday. We walked in and immediately asked if they could do anything gluten free. The lovely Lana enthusiastically said, yes. She quicklysat us down and gave us the menu. I did not see a gluten free section on the menu, so I just waited for Lana to return to thetable. I had birthday party with my friends on Saturday dinner. We ordered 6 different kinds of food and share. My favorite was Sichuan style eggplant&shrimp fries. The spicy taste of the sauce neutralizes the greasy feeling of the tempura. The second mostdelicious was chow mien. Noodles cooked soft and tender. It has a lot of ingredients like meat, seafood and some vegetables.3babies on our table enjoyed chow mien. They gave food pretty generous and service was good. After I blew up the candles, theybrought some extra dishes for the cake.
Extremely attentive and friendly service. We were seated very quickly and our order was taken as soon as we were ready despite the place being pretty packed. Food really hit the spot, as my girlfriend said it was cooked exactly the way [she] was hoping it would be . Someone who i assume the owner was checking in on guests to ensure everyone was doing well; seemed very personable. When you go, be kind to the staff and tip well!

Hop Sing Palace, whose walls are now adorned with photos, serves some exceptional dishes. The fried shrimp tasted fantastic, and I enjoyed the best sweet and sour pork I’ve had in quite some time. Folsom even offers a shuttle service that takes you around the historic area, making it really fun to dine by car. Be sure to check out their menu and don’t forget to leave a tip!
Love the place. The front of the restaurant looks small, but there's another dining room in the back beyond the iron gate. Loved their Mu Shu Shrimp. Fried rice was not greasy, walnut shrimp was delicious, but the Mongolian beef was on the salty side. Priceis reasonable.
....went back n got pics this time. The fried prawns tasted awesome... The best of sweet n sour pork I've had in a while... Folsom now has a shuttle service that will drive you around old Folsom... Really cool to n from car to eatery's... (Give em atip)
I celebrated my birthday dinner with friends at Hop Sing Palace on Saturday night. We ordered six different dishes to share, and my favorite was the Sichuan-style eggplant.
